What are healthy snacks to eat throughout the day?
Healthy snacks? I didn’t even know what that meant. However, junk snacks used to mean EVERYTHING to me. I was the biggest snacker. I literally snacked all the time on chips, cookies, licorice ( I didn’t like red vines-I LOVED the black ones), ice cream, candy, etc…

I remember snacking instead of having a meal!
Did I stop snacking when I took control of my health? No I didn’t. I snack here and there but nothing absolutely NOTHING compared to the previous days
Listen, I have to tell you something. I’m not perfect. Nowhere close!
I was a junk eater until 2011
I took control of my health
I learned
I made mistakes
I had and still have my ups and downs

Yes I still snack on chips BUT NOT daily ( and I only buy chips that’s organic, non gmo ( not genetically modified), and has 2-4 ingredients), I still have ice cream ( sorbet only) and NOTHING compared to what I used to eat.

A lot of moms ask me what are healthy snacks to eat throughout the day? Here are few ideas of healthy snacks that you and your kids can eat throughout the day.
- Frozen Grapes
- Kale Chips ( you can make those and save money on ready made kale chips)
- Rawnola Cereal ( you can make yourself- gluten free oats, medjool dates, nuts, seeds, etc… bake in the oven and that’s it)
- Smoothies
- Popsicles ( you can make yourself using fresh fruits that you blend, pour in popsicles mold and freezer)
- Baked Sweet Potato Fries
- Mixed Berries with Cinnamon
